EXEDY sponsored drift team, SATS, takes first British Drift Championship win at Donington

 
The fourth round of the British Drift Championship took place using a custom built track, somewhat emulating the old Teeside track, at the “Launch Pad” at Donington Park. With its long sweeping first corner, this is the sort of track that was perfectly suited to Mark Buff and the EXEDY sponsored SATS Toyota Supra.

From the off, it quickly became apparent that Mark would be one to watch, showing great skill and flair in his practice runs. In qualifying, his near perfect runs gave him a high placing and entry into the top 16.

The final run gave Buff the win he had been chasing for so long in the BDC, and catapults him back into contention for the championship with a two point lead.

It’s all to play for in the final round at Knockhill, and Buff has a slight advantage; it’s his favourite technical track, and he has had plenty of track time on it. So will he be able to take the win, and the championship?

Mark and Team SATS with their EXEDY sponsored Toyota Supra now lead both the British Drift Championship and the European Drift Championship.

The FIAT YAMAHA TEAM had won the MotoGP 2009 Team, Manufacturer and Rider triple crown.
Through EXEDY’s quality products and persistent support, YAMAHA had credited the season’s success with an Award of Appreciation to EXEDY.

Through EXEDY’s support, the FIAT YAMAHA TEAM Rider V. Rossi was able to become the series champion next to his second place teammate J. Lorenzo.

This accomplishment resembles a world wide step forward through the high technology of EXEDY.
